The Colonia Murri, a landmark protected by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, was built in 1912 as a marine hospice. It is located in Bellariva, by the sea, between the G. Di Vittorio seafront and Viale Regina Margherita, adjacent to the new Sea Park (Parco del Mare). Its existing linear structure features parallel wings, reaching a maximum height of 15 meters across four floors above ground and a basement. It boasts a total usable floor area of 10,500 m2, a built area of 3,240 m2, and a volume of 48,000 m3.

The intervention area includes the area of the former Murri colony and the Mediterranean park in one of the green areas overlooking the sea on the Giuseppe di Vittorio seafront affected by the redevelopment project called the Sea Park.
The area is in a central area of Rimini close to the historic center (about 4 km) where you will find all the main monuments of the city (Arch of Augustus, Malatesta Temple, Roman amphitheater, Tiberius Bridge, Galli Theatre, etc...) and the railway station; It is a few kilometers from the motorway exit of Rimini Sud and the international airport Federico Fellini.
It is easily accessible by public transport such as the sea metro (TRC) as there is the Bellariva stop about 400 meters away, and several bus lines.
It is reachable on foot and by bike from the historic center and the railway station by pedestrian cycle paths
