The redevelopment project covers the perimeter of the city’s former goods yard, currently disused, located in a suburban area of Forlì, 1.5 km from the city centre. The surface area of 125,000 m² allows for the construction of 33,000 m² of GFA, 9,500 m² of which for residential use, 17,500 m² for tertiary use (offices, public services, hotels, personal services and small businesses), as well as 6,100 m² for public use (public and private schools). A further area with buildings, close to the railway station, is available to settle new uses. The closeness to the old city centre and the railway station, render the redevelopment project extremely interesting for the future of the city’s town planning.
