FORMER AMGA SITE

The site is located in the centre of Ferrara (pop. 133,155), near the historic city, on the south-west side of the old town walls, near the Burana Canal. The complex has access to all necessary services as it’s only a small distance from the town hall square, the Cathedral, the main shopping strees, from various univerity facilties, not to mention the city park, which is pedestrian and bicycle friendly and runs along the ancient walls, representing one of the most important social meeting places in town;
it is also situated close to – slightly more than a kilometre – the site called Darsena City (a shopping centre with a supermarket, shops, a multiplex cinema and a residential area) and from the shopping centre The Castle (with one of the largest supermarkets in the city and includes numerous shops). From the site you can also easily reach the new Saint Anna’s hospital, following Via Comacchio, in the Cona fraction nearly 8 km from the city centre of Ferrara. The area has many public parking lots. The railway station FS is 1,8 km from the property, while the “South Ferrara” tollbooth on the A13 motorway (Bologna-Padua) is 8 km away.
