Description

The industrial area of Martignone, located in the Municipalities of Crespellano and Anzola dell'Emilia, is a strategic asset for the entire territory. The area is characterised by its privileged location, excellent rail, motorway and airport links and a highly developed production structure. Industries suited to the area include: manufacturing, craft and industrial activities and other related functions. In the production hub there are some areas, not yet included in the planning tools. To date, 175 companies are already established in the area, approximately half of which operate in the manufacturing sector, including some metalworking companies. Two of the most important companies in the Bolognese Packaging Valley are based in Martignone. Businesses in the area are mainly involved in the manufacture of machines and metal products, with a lesser number involved in service crafts and wholesale and retail trade. There are also several small-medium companies operating in the production of rubber and plastic products. Finally, it should be noted that an important global leader in the production of fibres for brooms and brushes is based here.

Accessibility

The area is located along State Road no. 9 Via Emilia between the urban settlements of Anzola dell’Emilia and Ponte Samoggia in the municipality of Crespellano.
The area is therefore close to two stations (Ponte Samoggia and Anzola) connected along the Bologna-Milan railway line.
The motorway is 10 minutes away and Bologna airport is 15 minutes away.
The area is also served by public transport, with bus lines stopping near the area (400 m). The most frequent bus is the 87, which follows the Bologna-Lavino-Anzola-Castel Franco route.
